Our Co-founder (Shubham Kumar) attended the gathering with Chandigarh Traffic police and proposed solutions to problems the city is facing from the traffic management perspective. Further, he spoke on behalf of the IIT Delhi Alumni association (think tank) to drive innovative technology initiatives for the Tricity in form of new technologies, existing changes in the infrastructure and create awareness among the people related to traffic rules.

This was an Innovative Technology discussion organized by Chandigarh traffic police department in the presence of Mr. Charanjit Singh (DSP, Chandigarh traffic police), Sh. Shashank Anand (IPS - SSP), IAS Officers and thoughtful entrepreneurs and leaders.

As a new initiative, Shubham proposed the ideas of iOT based cloud traffic monitoring systems - an advance system that can directly solve the problems at the root level in the city with a vision of reducing crime, catching over speeding, automated toll collection, reducing accidents etc. without much spending on infrastructure by the government. Volumetree is discussing with Chandigarh Administration to run a pilot with their new tech that can solve such problems.

Various entrepreneurs like Samar Singla, CEO of Jugnoo and senior executive level alumni members who were present in the gathering also shared their brilliant ideas.
