Baked Shakarpara with Stevia
Ingredients:
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup semolina (sooji)
2 tablespoons ghee (clarified butter) or oil
2 tablespoons stevia powder (adjust to taste)
Pinch of salt
Water, as needed

*Instructions:
Step:1
Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, semolina, stevia powder, and a pinch of salt.

Step:2
Add the ghee or oil to the dry ingredients and mix well using your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Gradually add water, a little at a time, and knead the mixture into a firm dough. The dough should be smooth and pliable.

Step:3
Divide the dough into small portions and
Use a knife or a cookie cutter to cut the rolled dough into diamond or square shapes.
Place the cut shakarpara on the prepared baking tray, leaving a little space between each piece.

Step:4
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the shakarpara turns golden brown and crispy, flipping them halfway through for even baking.
Once baked, remove from the oven and allow them to cool completely.
Store the baked shakarpara in an airtight container once cooled. Enjoy as a healthier recipe.
