🐄Give Her a Name, Give Her a Home🐄
In the 🚩Indian Hindu community🚩, cows are revered as our Mother, and it becomes our sacred duty to save, protect, respect, and love her in every possible way.
Cow adoption is a noble step that every Indian, irrespective of caste, creed, color, or religion, should embrace. The average monthly expense of a cow in a shelter, including green fodder, medicines, and care, ranges between ₹1500 to ₹2000, which can be easily managed by an individual or shared among 2–3 families through joint adoption.
To adopt a cow, one can approach a reputed and trustworthy NGO, cow shelter, or social worker in their village, town, or city and take responsibility for a cow’s monthly upkeep. Another way is to rescue stray cows from the streets and relocate them to shelters with the help of local bodies or self-help groups.
Once adopted, families can name their cow, adorn her with a bell, and visit her regularly to build a bond of love and respect. Adoption is not only protection but also devotion, and it is the most effective way to stop cruelty and safeguard our Mother Cow.
By protecting cows, we also contribute to protecting other animals such as dogs, birds, and buffaloes, thereby creating a compassionate and harmonious society.
