Xiaomi Redmi 6 & Redmi 6A Launched!

Xiaomi launched Redmi 6 Series today in China. The series includes two smartphones – Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A both of which are launched with cost-effective feature kept in mind. Redmi 6 comes with two storage variants- 3GB+ 32GB costing up to 8,400 INR and 4GB + 64GB costing up to 10,500 INR. Whereas Redmi 6A has been launched with least cost and it will cost only 6,500 INR.

Both the smartphones are similar in various Starting from the display, both the phones have 5.45 inch HD Display, the operating system in both of the phones is Android 8.1 Oreo OS working on MIUI 9 software. The phones come with 3000 mAH battery. The phones are packed with dual SIM Slot and dedicated micro SD Card slot which holds up to 128GB data.

Talking about Redmi 6, the phones comes with Octa Core Media Tek Helio P22 Processor with the clock speed of 2.0 GHz. The phone possesses 12MP + 5MP dual camera setup with LED flashlight along with some exciting features like fingerprint scanner and face unlock feature.

On the other hand, Redmi 6A comes with a single 13MP rear camera with LED Light and 2.0 GHz clock speed.

Both the phones come in Grey, Blue, Rose Gold and Gold colours to choose from, which will be available from June 15 in China and no information regarding the availability of the smartphones in India is given till now.

Redmi 6 Launch Confirmed by Xiaomi
Xiaomi has confirmed that it will introduce its budget Redmi 6 smartphone at an event in China on June 12th. This is the successor of Redmi 5 that was announced back in December last year. Xiaomi smartphones with model numbers M1804C3CC, M1804C3DE and M1804C3CE got certified by TENAA last month so this could be the Redmi 6.

The phone is said to come in two versions, one with an Octa-Core SoC with dual rear cameras, and the other one with a Quad-Core SoC with a single rear camera.
