Following the memorable first night of celebrations at Etor Delong in Mongku, Legging, and Rengging villages, the cultural festivities continued on the 2nd and 3rd nights with visits to Yapgo, Tigra Mirbuk, Yagrung, Tekang, Mirsam, Mirku, and Berung villages.

It was truly heartening to witness the enthusiasm, unity, and deep respect for our traditions displayed by the people across every village. The vibrant cultural performances, age-old customs, and warm hospitality reflected the strong spirit of our community and the collective commitment to preserving our indigenous identity and heritage for future generations.

My sincere appreciation to all the villagers, organisers, elders, youths, and participants for making the celebrations so meaningful and memorable.

Honoured to attend the launching ceremony of Banné Nog-Ying organised by Adi Ba:né Ané Kébang (APEX) 2025–28 today at GHSS Auditorium, Pasighat.

It was a privilege to share the occasion with Guest of Honour Shri Tajom Tasung, President, CDPYK, Pasighat, Special Guest Smti Ruth Tabing Boko, ZPC, East Siang and PMC Councillors who accompanied me and extended their support to the programme. Their gracious presence added great value and encouragement to this meaningful initiative.

I wholeheartedly appreciate the organisers for conceptualising and conducting such a meaningful event dedicated to preserving our culture, traditions, and identity. Initiatives like these play an important role in educating and inspiring the younger generation to remain connected to our roots and heritage.

It was a privilege to join the community in celebrating our heritage, music, dance, and customary practices. My thanks to the residents for their warm welcome and for sharing these meaningful moments that preserve our identity.

With profound grief and deep sorrow, we mourn the sad demise of Dr. Bengia Tolum, a distinguished personality whose life was marked by dedication, humility, and service to society.

Dr. Tolum was not only an accomplished professional but also a compassionate human being who touched countless lives through his wisdom, kindness, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people. His contributions to society and his exemplary character earned him immense respect and admiration from all who knew him.

His passing is an irreparable loss to the community, friends, colleagues, and family members. In this moment of immense sadness, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and pray to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the family to bear this irreparable loss.

May his legacy continue to inspire generations to come.
