P.A.G.C. Foundation

Protect and Awaken Girl’s Consortium (P.A.G.C. Foundation) is a Non-Profit Company registered under section 08 of India Companies Act 2013. It was formerly known as Protest against gang r**e and crimes.

It started working since Day 5 of January of the year 2014. Initially, it organized candle march, protests and raised voice in public to ensure the safety of women.

After 2014, it started working with a motto of R**e Free India. The organization has conducted various camps, counseled victims, and created awareness through programs to make the public realize their roles and potential in achieving the cause it has taken up.

It has also introduced helpline numbers for 24*7 connection with the public and played a significant role in ensuring justice to many victims by doing all the possible help.

Lately, it has organized conferences and programs to aware the masses and to celebrate the existence of women. It also organized blood donation camps in P.M.C.H. Hospital, Patna in 2015. It took up a Herculean task of helping in the flood relief and organized cloth donation program for the affected ones in the devastating flood that hit Bihar.

Every year it organizes a conference on the eve of International Women’s day to bring some change makers to limelight and felicitates them.

Last year, सलोNI was organized as an initiative for celebrating the spirit of Girl Child. The first edition, SALONI 1.0, was a grand success which was conducted in March 2018. The second edition of the initiative is going to organise in the month of July 2018

A strong campaign against r**e by 6 youngsters of the city in 2014, when there was hardly any such organization, has grown productively into an organization in Patna of 220+ volunteers from across the globe today.
