Now days Dehradun, several roads and bridges were damaged due to a cloudburst. This raises a serious question—how can such infrastructure collapse so easily during the monsoon?
1. Why do roads and bridges collapse so easily during monsoon, despite heavy rainfall being expected every year?

2. Were the roads and bridges constructed with proper quality standards and durable materials?

3. Is poor drainage and water management the main reason for such quick damage?

4. Are cloudbursts being used as an excuse, or is there a deeper issue of corruption in construction?

5. What measures are being taken by the administration to make infrastructure monsoon-resilient?

6. Why is there a lack of long-term planning in areas like Dehradun, which are prone to heavy rainfall and floods?

7. How are the local people affected, and what immediate relief is being provided?

8. Could better plantation and natural water channels have reduced the damage?
