A new study found this octopus cutie and his brethren share more in common with us than we realized. Despite all their strange ways, octopuses have a huge repertoire of microRNA in their brain tissues and DNA transposons, just like we do. STRUCTURE OF HUMAN HEART.
Heart is a four chambered organ. The upper two chambers are called auricles and lower chambers are called ventricles.
Right auricle and right ventricle is connected by tricuspid valve. Likewise left auricle and left ventricle by bicuspid valve.
The inferior venacava and superior venacava collects blood from different parts of body and opens to right auricle.
Then pulmonary artery carry blood from right atrium to lungs for purification. Lungs purify the blood by adding oxygen and taking away CO2.Then purified blood is collected from lungs to left atrium by pulmonary vein. The purified blood distributed to different parts of the body from left ventricle through aorta.
The right side of heart always carry impure blood and left side contain oxygen rich pure blood. So right side and left side is fully seperated by inter auriculo ventricular septum.
