✨ Embracing Innovation, Imaging the Future!

The Department of Radiology, CGC University, Mohali, proudly organized its 1st CME (Continuing Medical Education) on the occasion of World Radiography Day 2025, marking a landmark initiative in advancing radiographic learning, innovation, and professional development.

The event commenced with an expert talk by Dr. S.C. Bansal (Former Assistant Professor, Department of Radio Diagnosis, PGIMER Chandigarh), who delivered an insightful session on “Advancements in Medical Imaging and the Role of Radiographers.” His thought-provoking address encouraged students to explore the dynamic integration of AI in diagnostic imaging.

Following this, Dr. Chirag Ahuja (MD, DM Neuroradiology, Department of Radiology, PGIMER Chandigarh) conducted an engaging session on Interventional Radiology, emphasizing precision, innovation, and patient-centric care in modern imaging.

Adding a hands-on dimension, Mr. Vivek Kumar (Medical Technologist – Radio-Diagnosis & Imaging, PGIMER Chandigarh; Joint Secretary, ISRT Chandigarh) led a practical workshop on imaging equipment, offering students valuable exposure to real-world applications and operational techniques.
