Koira Club is a professionally run boarding and training facility! How are we different? Because of our knowledge and experience in dog behaviour as well as handling! We are not just dog lovers, we understand dog psychology, we’ve trained multiple dogs in the last decade and that’s why we built this space after 10 years of understanding dogs. Koira Club is a second home to many dogs and nothing brings us joy that to take care of dogs, be it any dog! Attending to the human emotions is very much a part of our job and we are here for it!

MY JOURNEY AS A DOG BOARDER

3 weeks back while packing things from our home boarding setup it felt like i was packing memories of 10 years. Our boarding setup then wasn’t just a boarding setup but our home as well but the real journey of my boarding career started long back in 2015 in a small apartment in Kothrud, Pune where i boarded 2-3 dogs only. The decision to open a big facility was always the plan however the journey I made while executing that plan was the best journey so far. Dog boarding in itself is like going to school everyday to learn more about dogs.
Growing up my father told me that if i want to be an expert at something i need to spend 10,000 hours doing it consistently. This 10 year journey marks close to 90,000 hours living with dogs. But I didn’t just learn about dogs, I watched myself grow, i watched myself build a family which is of the utmost priority to me. Dogs gave me Sahil, the man I hate staying away from. The man I could smother in his sleep sometimes but can’t live without.The man I’ll marry in every lifetime!
My entire goal since 2015 was to build a space for dogs, a place where they can thrive and a place filled with positive vibes. And now that I’ve achieved that goal it’s time to nurture it and thrive.
One of the important lessons I’ve learnt in the last 10 years is that growth doesn’t happen overnight, it’s a gradual process.The only way we can live is if we grow. The only way we can grow is if we change.The only way we can change is if we learn.The only way we can learn is if we are exposed.And the only way we can become exposed is if we take a giant leap of faith and throw ourselves into the open.
So do that! Stop talking about your plans and get busy making them happen!
