Software Developer (Android)
Location: Pune
Experience: 6 months to 2 Years
Educational Qualification : BE/B.Tech/ME (Computer/IT )/MCA/MCS

NP :Immediate or Max 30 days

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

• Collaborate with project managers to implement end-to-end solutions for complex projects

• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications

• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems

• Manage the full technical life-cycle of Android applications during each development phase

• Document and maintain design specifications, source code, and archives for new applications and ideas.

• Perform individual project components within the entire development lifecycle including implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance.

• Work from UI/UX requirements, APIs, mock-ups to build functional, high-performance Android phone and tablet apps.
• Understand the nuances of fragments and Android XML layouts, and how to create adaptive interfaces that work for multiple device form factors.

• Remain informed of current trends and technology developments

Skills and Experience:
1. Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes

2. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services

3. Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practicesJSP,J2EE framework

4. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

5. Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”

6. Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers

7. Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks

8. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

9. Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications

10. Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines

11. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

12. Excellent communication and delegation skills
