Good hands on experience on developing server side features. [Java or NodeJs]
Good hands on experience on developing front end features. [AngularJS or Any popular JavaScript Framework]
Understanding of Cloud deployments (Any Cloud - AWS/Azure/GCP)
Understanding of RESTFul Services
Good hands on experience in Database model designing, query profiling, query optimisation, replication, sharding strategies, etc (Any Database - MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
Understanding the importance of Modularity/MicroService and experience in building the applications with good design principles/approaches.
Source Code Management (Any SCM - SVN, Git)
Strong habits of continuous source code integration/deployments.(Understanding of Jenkins)
Good hands on experience on any Linux favoured OS. (Any Linux - Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, SUSE)
Hands on experience on Shell scripting.
