Swift Response by Averts Major Tragedy in Jhansi

Responding to a distress call from the Civil Administration during the evening hours on 01 July 2026, troops of the swiftly mobilised to assist civil authorities during a major fire incident at Manik Chowk Bazaar, .

Indian Army firefighting teams, operating in close coordination with the Uttar Pradesh Fire & Emergency Services, responded to the rapidly spreading blaze in a warehouse located within the densely populated market area. Through timely and coordinated action, over 30 civilians were safely evacuated, preventing loss of life and averting a major tragedy.

The coordinated efforts of the Indian Army, Fire & Emergency Services, Police and Civil Administration successfully contained and extinguished the blaze, minimising damage to property and once again demonstrating the ’s steadfast commitment to safeguarding lives in times of crisis.
