The road not taken, a poem that we all remember from our textbooks is not just a chapter for grade 9 but for the class of life! To each, their own refers to the different roads that are not predetermined by parents, teachers, or schools, but by the chosen destiny that the child follows.

“The Children of Today will make the future of tomorrow.” These words by our beloved Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, still ring true as we celebrate today as our National Children’s Day.

Poor literacy is still an issue that we are yet to overcome. The literacy rate in India as of 2022 is still just 77.7%. As a driving contributor to India’s education, we take pride in the fact that our active developments in the tier-2,3,4 towns of Maharashtra are making a change, one child at a time!

Happy Literacy Day to all educators, individuals, and entities who make an effort for a change!

On the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, one of our partner Schools set a benchmark in celebrating the glory of our mother India!
The students participated in different cultural activities from dancing to giving speeches. They also dressed up in vibrant costumes to represent Indian Heritage by wearing traditional attires of different States in India. Along with the attires, they shared small speeches to describe their respective state, thus displaying unity in diversity.
There were also students who represented Prominent Female Leaders like Sarojini Naidu, Pratibha Patil, Jhansi ki Rani, etc. to spread the message of their service in our country's prestige. They also did the same for the Rashtra Purush like Bhagat Singh, Jawaharlal Nehru, and Mahatma Gandhi. This shows the dedication and understanding of our students in knowing the history of our country's leadership and efforts towards freedom.
There was also a small narration depicting the history of the Indian National Flag by the students. They spoke about how we came to decide the symbol and design of our flag and the people who contributed to those efforts.
Above all, students paid a tribute to our soldiers and commandos by representing them and discussing the selfless service they provide in protecting the glory and freedom of our nation.
To make this day memorable and successful, all of the teachers put in a lot of hard work. They were also supported by iDEP in selecting different activities which can be conducted to make the day exceptional. This Independence day became a lot more special for the school because of the support from the teachers, students, and our iDEP engagement resources.
