The Belt of Venus is not a tangible belt encircling the planet; rather, it is an atmospheric phenomenon that graces the evening or morning sky. During these transitional periods between day and night, when the Sun is below the horizon, the Earth's shadow starts to emerge in the opposite direction. The Belt of Venus is a delicate pinkish or purplish glow that appears above the horizon opposite to the setting or rising Sun.
This enchanting phenomenon is a result of the scattering of sunlight by the Earth's atmosphere.
