No, no 'social media agency' or 'online communication ninja' has taken over our Instagram handle, we just figured that this might be really boring copy but it pretty much covers the message!
So, basically -
Yes, we know it's a working day, yes, we know it's a short notice, yes, we know it's a small selection, yes, we know Bhugaon is not exactly easy to get to, yes, we know it's kinda out of the way, yes, we know this is probably asking too much... But, heck, life isn't fair, it's also kinda short & excuses are aplenty.
Hence - Just come over to the studio this Wednesday, our work will be available for purchase and as always there'll be cake, coffee & conversation for free! ▫️▫️▫️
To quote copy that's advertising history - Just do it.
Oh, also Impossible is Nothing.
Oh, and also for whatever it's worth darr ke aage jeet hai!

We're not big on 'matching' sets at the studio.
Of course, all our commissioned projects of larger volumes can be called sets, in terms of forms, sizes & glazes, but the work we craft over and beyond those collections are, more often than not, ensembles. ▫️▫️▫️
We like mixing things up - often pairing complimentary glazes and textures, teaming up unlikely individual works, even reinterpreting forms for different functions.
And this unorthodox styling results in the most delightful ensembles of select work. Very sui generis!
▫️▫️▫️
Here's one such example that we put together for a client.
The beautiful shading on the teapot is a result of the glaze being licked by flames inside the kiln. The straight little drinkers have been glazed multiple times to get a mottled look that would be rather impossible to repeat. The rounded teabag / sugar bowl & the salver underneath have been fired with a gorgeous 'bronze-black' slip, which was brushed on for nuance and character.
Needless to say each of these was crafted by hand from start to finish.
We love our job.
And we hope that shows! ▪️▪️▪️
