We have had trekkers go quiet, tear up, and even just sit down on their backpacks the first time Nubra opens up in front of them. It does that to people.
For us, Nubra is that part of the Lasermo La trail we look forward to every single time. You slog up the pass, the wind is in your face, and then suddenly the valley is just there, rivers, sand, tiny houses, distant glaciers, all in one frame. Even after so many years of walking this route, it still catches us off guard in the best way.
We don’t think of Nubra as a “must-do attraction.” It feels more like a place you grow into as you start spending time in Ladakh and on its trails. If you love long walking days, quiet valleys, and places that take a while to fully sink in, Nubra has a way of staying with you.

If you are comfortable on treks and keep catching yourself Googling “first 6000m peak”, this carousel is pretty much made for you.
Over the years, these are the five peaks we end up talking about the most with people who want to move beyond just trekking: Island Peak, Lobuche, Mera in Nepal and Kang Yatse 2, UT Kangri 2 in Ladakh. Each of them asks for a bit more from you, but in a way that still feels achievable if you put in the work. Some have more glacier time, some are all about endurance, some are the kind of summits where you catch yourself thinking, wow, this is actually mountaineering now.
If you are serious about taking that next step, start here instead of picking a random mountain off the internet. DM us and tell us where you are in your journey and we will help you figure out which 6,000er actually makes sense for you.

That moment when you reach your campsite, exhausted but completely alive — that feeling starts way before you hit the trail. It starts with how you pack.
Most first-timers pack for the fear, not the trail. We’ve been there, we’ve seen it, and that’s exactly why we put this guide together.
Swipe through to know exactly what to wear, what to carry, and what to leave behind on your next high-altitude trek. ➡️
From your base layers to your headlamp — we’ve broken it all down so you don’t have to guess.
Save this before your next trek. 🎒

A lot of people ask us these exact KGL questions before they book, so we put them all in one place.
If you’re thinking about Kashmir Great Lakes, this is probably all you need to know. How hard it is, whether it works as a first Himalayan trek, what kind of training actually helps, and what the trail feels like once you’re out there.
If KGL has been on your mind, this is the perfect time to make it real. Pack your excitement, trust the trail, and get ready for an unforgettable adventure.
Here’s the reason people come back to Adventure Pulse again and again
We keep everything easy right from the start, so you can focus on the trail instead of the planning. You don’t have to worry about the small details, because the journey is already taken care of. That leaves you free to enjoy the views, the pace and the moment. It’s all about making the trek feel relaxed and enjoyable, not complicated. When the planning is handled well, the whole experience feels lighter and a lot more memorable. So all that’s left for you is to walk, look around and take it in.
So come explore with us and see how easy adventure can feel.
