On April 19th, opening the Son Rise Music Festival will be Joshua Generation, a Gospel band from Mumbai.
With music that is appealing to the younger generation Joshua Generation has been has been well accepted by the Christian youth of Mumbai and beyond. The song “Sajda Karun” from their album ‘Sajda Karun’ is widely popular among Christians and has been performed by a host of other artistes.
On Republic Day 2014 they released “Sare Jahan Se Acha,” a patriotic song to capture the heart of this generation, cutting across caste, creed and culture. The band is also working on their second album ‘Aaye Khuda,’ and they have released their first song from that album - “Aa Bhi Ja.”

The band consists of:

Roney Maben: vocals and acoustic guitar
Dynell Bangera: Lead Guitar
Isaac Lopez: Rythm Guitar
Rohan bangera: Bass Guitar
Raunak Joseph: Backing Acoustic Guitar
Devyesh Gorassia : Backing Vocals.
