Had the opportunity to be a panelist at Image Management Professionals Association (IMPA)- Pune Chapter's Monthly Meet & Women’s Day celebration, over this weekend, for a very relevant and thought-provoking discussion on, “The Midlife Shift: How Hormonal Changes Impact a Woman’s Image - Inside Out.” 😇

It was an insightful discussion around how midlife changes impact not just our physical appearance or body, but also a woman’s self-image, confidence, and sense of identity.

What made it even more special was sharing the stage with such diverse and experienced panelists & community members; Dr Awanti Dhadphale (Homeopathic Consultant & Counsellor), Pallavi Bengeri (Certified Image Consultant & Transformation Coach), and Preeti Singh (Fashion Designer & Budding Image Consultant) 💖

Each one of us brought our own perspectives, from health, to mindset, to style, based on our personal as well as professional midlife changes & experiences 💫

My sharing and reflections from the panel were something like this:
✨ A woman’s image is not just about how she looks, but how she feels within. During phases of change, your inner voice matters even more.

✨ Take care of your physical and mental health, while still staying committed to your personal and professional responsibilities. Dress up and show up, it makes a difference!

✨ It’s okay to slow down. Take only as much on your plate as your mind and body can truly handle.

✨ Be kind and empathetic towards other women going through similar phases, whether it’s your sister, friend, colleague, or even a client.

Grateful to the IMPA Pune Chapter Leads Kavita, Varsha & Zahra for creating a space for such honest, meaningful conversations. And to everyone who attended and engaged so openly, thank you for making it so impactful! 🙏😊

Loving who you are becoming. Respecting your journey. Showing up with confidence and self-belief. That is exactly what February felt like. I continued doing what I deeply love; training, mentoring and helping people build a positive self-image 💞

✨ Conducted soft skills trainings on Goal Setting, Time & Stress Management, Customer Service Ready, & Interview Skills.

✨ Took one-on-one sessions on Personal Branding & Appearance Management.

✨ Conducted a workshop on the HerKey platform, on the topic, “Unmute Yourself: Finding Your Voice, Reclaiming Your Self-Image & Rebuilding Confidence.” We spoke about positive self-talk, power dressing and confidently presenting yourself on social media.

✨️ Attended our monthly chapter meet of the Image Management Professionals Association (IMPA). There is nothing like being around your own community; also learnt some wonderful skincare insights from our fellow community member.

✨️ And yes, love at home too! Family time. Dinner and a movie date. Flowers. A little travel. Good food. Spa time. Slow moments & so much more.

This month reminded me that self-love is:

💌 Building a positive self-image
💌 Working on your confidence.
💌 Respecting your growth.
💌 Doing meaningful work.
💌 Learning and upskilling.
💌 Spending time with people who matter.
💌 Pausing and relaxing.

February, you were full of love in every sense. Here’s to doing what we love and loving what we do 🫶

“There is no limit to what we, as women, can accomplish.” – Michelle Obama

I was honoured to be invited as a Jury Member for the 4th season of BizQueen 2026, by SkillEtz Foundation in Jan'26 📝

BizQueen is more than a pageant; it’s a platform supporting women entrepreneurs with mentoring, market access and sustainable income opportunities, including specially-abled and economically marginalised women as well 👸

What stood out was the diversity.
Women from metro cities, tier-2 towns and villages, ranging across from homemakers, to single women & even women with special needs 💞

From craftsmanship and cooking to spice-making, tailoring, painting, crocheting, farming and sustainable products, their ventures reflected resilience and creativity.

Different beginnings, different journeys, just one common thread, i.e. determination.

My biggest takeaway from the event was that nothing can stop you if you decide and commit to your vision. Because confidence is not about where you come from, it’s about deciding where you’re going 💫

Grateful to Shrruti Patole & SkillEtz foundation for creating such a meaningful impact and for trusting me to be part of this journey 🙏😊

Our Jan ’26 IMPA Chapter meet began on a truly reflective note with a Vision Board activity, thoughtfully facilitated by our expert, IMPA Certified member, and dear friend, Swapna Menon 🥰

The session encouraged us to pause and reflect on how 2025 shaped us; acknowledging what went well, what didn’t, the lessons learned, and what we consciously wish to carry forward into 2026, be it relationships, emotions, values, or goals 🤔

For me, it was a moment of deep introspection. A reminder to acknowledge the good, feel grateful for it, and consciously leave behind what no longer serves me, so we can move ahead with greater clarity, peace, and purpose 😇

The exercise also helped me re-align my personal and professional goals by choosing contentment and satisfaction over unease and constant urgency, and doing everything with intention, even when that intention is simply to pause, feel calm, or to do something for myself 🧘‍♀️🫶

Most importantly, it reminded me to choose ME. To be at my best, so I can give my best to others, inspire them, and create a positive impact when it truly matters 💖💝

Thank you, Swapna, for helping us begin the year with such clarity and intention 🤗❤️ And a heartfelt thanks to our chapter leads Kavita, Varsha, and Zahra for organizing this insightful session 😊👍

10 Years of Vow For Wow! ✨️🎉 Here are the wow lessons this decade taught me, through experiences, growth, pauses, and purpose 👇

1️⃣ Commitment & Consistency: They go hand in hand. Showing up regularly matters the most even when results take time.

2️⃣ Creativity & Uniqueness: Do what you love, know your niche. Stay true to yourself & don't follow the masses.

3️⃣ Collaboration: Choose collaboration over competition. Growth multiplies when you grow together.

4️⃣ Change & Transformation: Evolve with time, without losing your core.

5️⃣ Upskilling: Acknowledge your weaknesses, choose to learn again and overcome them.

6️⃣ Showing Up: Be visible, even on days when it feels uncomfortable. Showcase your strengths, and use them wisely.

7️⃣ Mentors & Well wishers: The right people make the journey lighter, positive and richer.

8️⃣ Work-Life Balance: You can’t pour from an empty cup. Pausing is not quitting; it’s refuelling.

9️⃣ Gratitude: A thankful heart keeps you grounded & going.

1️⃣0️⃣ Last but not the least, Giving Back: Impact feels meaningful when it goes beyond business.

These lessons helped me find my path, my pace, and my purpose in doing what I love 😇❤️🥰

I hope your journey teaches you too, challenges you, and helps you grow. Accept it fully, and create your own story to tell 💫💖

“A community is built on trust, respect, and a shared sense of purpose.” - Simon Sinek

As the year comes to a close, our IMPA Pune Chapter year-end meet felt like the perfect moment to reflect, celebrate, and feel grateful 🥰

It was a celebration of a successful 2025 under the new leadership, our recent wins at the IMPA Annual Conference in Mumbai, and so much more that words can’t fully capture 🥳🏆🎉

This year was special for me in a very different way. For the first time, I experienced the chapter purely as a member, and not as a Chapter Lead or President.

And honestly, nothing changed. I participated with the same enthusiasm in monthly meets, learning sessions, and CSR activities, giving my best, simply because this community means so much to me 🫶

I was deeply humbled to be invited to share my journey from building the chapter to winning awards over the last 7 years. But what touched me the most was seeing what we have built together; a beautiful, strong community filled with creative minds, spirited individuals, and genuinely wonderful people 💖💫

Receiving a certificate of appreciation from our chapter leads Kavita, Varsha, and Zahra for my contribution and dedication towards the growth of the Pune Chapter in 2025 truly meant a lot 💝

The evening ended just the way it should, with laughter, warmth, like-minded people cheering for one another, and raising a toast to yet another promising year ahead for IMPA Pune Chapter 🥂👍

Thank you, once again, to our chapter leads for planning and putting together such a beautiful, heartfelt evening 🤗❤️

"Do your work then step back; the only path to serenity." – Lao Tzu

When we think of being business ready, we often focus on the external side of things such as creating our marketing materials, building our platforms, showing up on social media, networking, and staying visible.

But there’s another side to being business ready that we don’t talk about enough, and that is mindfulness, slowing down, pausing when needed, and creating a healthy work-life balance.

In the recent Image Circle session I conducted last month for IMPA Pune Chapter, I shared how both these sides go hand in hand. 👩‍💻 My topic was 'The Balancing Act- Being Business Ready Without Burning Out'.

Yes, the branding and visibility matter, but so does your mental space, your energy, your clarity, and the way you hold yourself through your personal commitments.

As trainers and consultants, what we build on the outside must be supported by what we nurture on the inside. 😇

Finding that balance is what keeps us grounded, consistent, and truly ready for the work we want to do. ⚖️

Grateful for the conversation and the honest reflections shared by all our image circle members, Pune Chapter Leads Kavita, Varsha & Zahra along with our Image Circle Lead Meera who joined the session. 🙏😊
