Covid has changed a lot of things for all of us. In terms of law firms, we saw a lot of changed norms including virtual internships and work from home jobs. We at SRB-OJAS had halted our recruitment process and internship program owing to the restrictions and delays in exams. But I am glad to inform here that we are resuming our internship program as well as recruitments from the first week of January. As many of you know, our internship program is restricted to a total of 4 interns and long term internships are preferred.
For recruitments, we are opening up 5 positions currently, with opportunities for freshers and experienced candidates. Please apply as per below instructions.

A division bench of Justice SK Kaul and K.M Joseph has delivered this crucial judgment clarifying that the police cannot file an FIR under Section 154 of CrPC wrt. cognizable offences under Chapter IV of Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940. An arrest can be directly effected by the Drug Inspector falling under Chapter IV of Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 without warrant and otherwise treating it as a cognizable offence.
