I am one of the best chef of Malvani & Goan cuisine and Hotelier ,My journey with Agerra’s Rice & Curry in Pune is truly inspiring!

Pune's best kept seafood secret is in Karve Nagar — and I'm done keeping it secret.
Let me tell you about Agerras, a tiny Malwani family restaurant where the parents cook and the son runs the floor — and where I had some of the most soulful seafood I've eaten in this city.
Here's everything I ordered, because you need the full picture:
Prawns Fry — Crispy, fresh, perfectly spiced. The kind of prawns fry that ruins every other prawns fry for you.
Pomphret Masala — Rich, deeply flavoured, made with homemade masalas and the freshest catch. You can smell the difference before you even take a bite.
Surmai Cutlets — A brilliant start to the meal. Delicate, spiced just right, and gone way too fast.
🍽️ Surmai Thali — The crown jewel. A surmai fry so big it barely fits the plate — succulent, golden, and absolutely magnificent. Came with a prawns curry so good that I had three full vatis of it on its own. THREE. I regret nothing.

What makes Agerras truly special isn't just the food — it's the philosophy behind it. Nothing is pre-prepared. No shortcuts, no bulk cooking, no reheating. Every dish is made fresh when you order it, and the moment it hits the table, you know. The flavours are clean, bright, and unapologetically homemade — ginger, coconut, hand-ground masalas — the real Malwani deal.
The owners are present, attentive, and genuinely proud of what they serve. This isn't a restaurant running on autopilot. It's a family putting their heart on a plate, every single day.
Pune has no shortage of seafood spots, but very few feel like this. Very few taste like this. If you've been sleeping on Malwani food or just looking for your next obsession — this is it.
