I waited for this shot for almost two hours. Luckily this location was not very far from the place where we were shooting a documentary.
But why I waited... Just wanted those contrasty shadows. Waited for the sun to go right above. I may be a simple picture but had I taken it in the morning when sun light was directional and soft it wouldn't wouldn't have created an impact.. at least that's what I think.. when I saw this trailer standing next to the shape shifter tree I imagined it exactly like this. I strongly believe that start shadows add that extra drama.
It's so important not to just document the scene.
And yes this photo is taken on mobile phone camera. Edited to my liking in Snapseed..

Watercolour...!
Not very far from Pune I found this step well... it’s secluded amidst dens plantation... there is no village around... I’m glad that it has not become a picnic spot yet.
I remember spending there at least an hour And I took only three pictures. I like how all the lines are leading me to the water below. Although it’s not potable but I was soothing. The green algae is adding that stark contrast in the image.

On the outskirts of Pune I saw this dry borewell.. it was not far from the village standing alone..
Only it could talk... must be having so many memories..!
