During Ist year of their course students conduct experiments in Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab, Applied Mechanics Lab & BIT Lab etc. In addition to it they are taught diffrent skills in Welding Shop,Carpentary Shop, Fitting Shop ,Foundary Shop,Smithy Shop. Institute" Chhotu Ram Polytechnic,Rohtak" which also enjoys its popularity as C.R.Polytechnic, Rohtak in close arena, is reaching new horizons with every tick of clock under the able guidance of its Principal Sh. Baljit Singh Hooda.Er. Baljit Singh Hooda passed his B.E.(Elect.Engg.),M.Tech.(Power System) degree from Regional Engg. College,Kurukshetra(presently NIT, Kurukshetra) and has a vast teaching & administrative experience of 24 years.His sound academic excellence, distinct decision making abilities and deeper sense of responsibilities have given new dimensions to the institute.
Our Principal’s Office works round the clock in close co-ordination with its dedicated teaching & non-teaching staff for the upliftment of the Institute.

Keeping in view the rush for admissions in the institute & to avoid any possible inconvenience to the students additional staff members have been deputed. Documents required are as under: Three self attested copies of DET Admit Card, Rank Card, Seat allotment letter, Qualifying Exam certificate, Counseling Fee deposit receipt(Original+2 copies),Character Certificate from the institute last attended(Original+2 copies),Medical Fitness Certificate from Registered MBBS doctor(Original+2copies),Anti Ragging affidavit from Parent & Student separately duly attested by Oath Commissioner(original+2 copies each),Reserve Category Certificate if applicable, Income Certificate if applicable & Fees as per Govt. norms.
