SAIL Rourkela Steel Plant

A Rajbhasha awareness programme was organised by the Rajbhasha Unit at the Ispat General Hospital (IGH) of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant on 25th May 2026. The programme witnessed active participation from 31 nurses and staff members of the Hospital.
During the sessions Mr. Anil Jha, Deputy Manager (PR) assisted the participants in filling up the Hindi Gyan ki Ghoshna form through the Karmi Mittra App on their respective mobile phones. He also emphasised upon the need of increasing the usage of Hindi in day-to-day Official work and informed the participants about available Hindi incentive Scheme of RSP along with the procedure for availing the same..
Ms. Lolati Toppo, AGM (PR-Rajbhasha) emphasised the need for installation and use of Hindi software in every computer of the department. She explained the provisions under Section 3(3) of the Official Languages Act regarding bilingual documents and also demonstrated some simple AI-based tools for Hindi translation.
An on-the-spot quiz competition was also organised during the programme in which the participants took part enthusiastically. Mr. Anil Jha, welcomed the gathering and conducted the session.
