X is a granite monolith in the Yosemite National Park USA. It measures just over 900m and is considered one of the toughest challenges for 'Big Wall Climbing'. It is synonymous with ardous tasks and even got referenced in Star Trek when Captain Kirk tries to climb the rock and fails eventually to be saved by spock.

There were many problems faced by this new formation; but the one in question is thought to be one of the more unseen ones. Although Sapthagiri was supposed to handle the combined demands of the old and the new, protests led to the establishment of a new full time one at Vijaywada.
