Today morning, the Rourkela Shines team had a chance encounter with an inspiring citizen on the Panposh–Chhend Road.

Manoj Kumar Sahoo, a resident of Mani Colony, Panposh, and an employee of a private company, was seen filling potholes along with his nephew Jeet Bahan. What makes this effort remarkable is that all the expenses for cement, sand, and chips are borne by them personally.

When our team member asked why he spends his own money and free time on this work, Manoj simply replied, "Bhai, this is my small contribution to society."

No publicity. No expectations. Just a genuine desire to make Rourkela's roads safer for everyone.
