ਮੁੱਖ ਚੋਣ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ, ਪੰਜਾਬ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਅਨਿੰਦਿਤਾ ਮਿੱਤਰਾ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਵੋਟਰ ਸੂਚੀ ਦੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਗਹਿਰੀ ਸੁਧਾਈ (SIR) ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਰਜਿਸਟਰਡ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਨਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ।

ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਪਾਰਦਰਸ਼ਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਚਾਰੂ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਧ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਦੇ ਸੁਚਾਰੂ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਸ਼ਲ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਜਲਦੀ ਤੋਂ ਜਲਦੀ ਬੂਥ ਲੈਵਲ ਏਜੰਟ (BLA) ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕਰਨ।..
Chief Electoral Officer Punjab, Ms. Anindita Mitra, today held a meeting with representatives of registered and recognised political parties regarding the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Electoral Rolls in the state.

During the meeting, political parties were requested to appoint Booth Level Agents (BLAs) at the earliest to facilitate transparency and ensure the smooth and efficient conduct of the revision process.

Punjab gears up for the Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Rolls.

Ms. Anindita Mitra, Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab, today announced the SIR schedule during a press conference.

📌 House-to-house enumeration will begin from 25th June 2026
📌 The SIR process will conclude on 1st October 2026

Citizens are requested to cooperate with BLOs during the verification process to help ensure accurate and inclusive electoral rolls.
