Tick Size Changes Effective from 15th April

Starting 15th April, tick sizes (the minimum price movement) will be revised across the Cash, Stock Futures, and Index Futures segments.

For Cash & Stock Futures Segments:
• Below ₹250: Tick size remains ₹0.01
• ₹250 – ₹1,000: Tick size remains ₹0.05
• ₹1,000 – ₹5,000: Tick size changes to ₹0.10
• ₹5,000 – ₹10,000: Tick size changes to ₹0.50
• ₹10,000 – ₹20,000: Tick size changes to ₹1.00
• Above ₹20,000: Tick size changes to ₹5.00

For Index Futures Segment:
• Up to 15,000: Tick size remains ₹0.05
• 15,000 – 30,000: Tick size changes to ₹0.10
• Above 30,000: Tick size changes to ₹0.20

Example:

Previously, a stock priced at ₹6,000 moved in steps of ₹0.05 (₹6,000 → ₹6,000.05 → ₹6,000.10, etc.).
Now, it will move in steps of ₹0.50 (₹6,000 → ₹6,000.50 → ₹6,001, etc.).

These changes will impact trading precision and order placements, so please review and adjust your strategies accordingly.
