Some reunions just fill your heart! 🥰

Earlier this week it was one of those beautiful days when a former student walks through your door and suddenly time flies back to those golden classroom memories!
Seeing Govindi today — all grown up, glowing, and thriving — reminded me exactly why teaching is the most rewarding journey one can ever be on. 💛
We laughed, we reminisced, we walked down memory lane together… and honestly? My heart is SO full right now! 🫶
This is what teachers live for not just the lessons we taught, but the lives we got to be a small part of. Watching our students bloom into the wonderful people they become is the greatest reward of all. 🌺
To Govindi — thank you for coming back and making my day so special. You made your teacher very, very proud today! 🎓
To all my students, past and present, you are my greatest achievement. Always. 💕

I bought this book for my daughter.
But somewhere between the pages,
it reminded me why stories like Harry Potter never really leave us.

The illustrations.
The paper.
The magic — still intact.

Maybe this time, I’ll read it not as a viewer of the films,
but as a reader discovering Hogwarts for the first time.
