1. PHP originally stood for Personal Home Page.
2. PHP which is now officially known as ‘Hypertext Preprocessor’ was released in the year 1995.
3. Initially written as a set of Common Gateway Interface (CGI) in ‘C’ (1994).
4. PHP was originally designed to replace a set of Perl scripts to maintain his Personal Home Pages (also known as PHP).
5. PHP was originally created by Rasmus Lerdorf in 1995. He wrote the original Common Gateway Interface (CGI) binaries.
6. Zeev Suraski and Andi Gutmans, two developers at the Technion IIT, rewrote the parser in 1997 and formed the base of PHP 3.
7. PHP 3 was official launched in June 1998.
8. Suraski and Gutmans rewrote the PHP 3’s core, producing the Zend Engine in 1999. They also founded Zend Technologies in Ramat Gan, Israel.
9. On May 22, 2000, PHP 4, powered by the Zend Engine 1.0, was released.

There are several reasons why PHP is probably the closest thing to a de-facto standard scripting language available online.
Because it’s a server-side script rather than client side, meaning the processing is done on the Web host’s server, rather than on your machine, information can be stored across browsing sessions without relying on cookies (snippets of data stored on your machine). This means you can access sites such as Facebook from any computer, enter your username and password, and access your account.

इस योजना की जानकारी इस प्रकार है : (About NDLM)
1 इस मिशन मे आप किसी को भी छात्र के रूप में सम्मिलित कर सकते है !
2 छात्र की आयु 14 से 60 वर्ष होना अनिवार्य है वह किस भी जाति का हो सकता है !
3 एक परिवार मे एक ही सदस्य का पंजीकरण किया जायेगा !
4 सभी छात्रों का आधार कार्ड होना अनिवार्य है ! SC/ST के लिए जाति प्रमाणपत्र (cast certificate) एवं BPL के लिए BPL कार्ड होना अनिवार्य है! साथ ही BPL के लिए उसका बैंक अकाउंट डिटेल भी होनी चाहिए !
5 कोर्स की अवधि 20 घंटे होगी जो की कंप्यूटर द्वारा इंटरनेट के माध्यम से दी जाएगी जो की न्यूनतम 10 दिन ओर अधिकतम 20 दिन मे पूरी करवानी है !
6 प्रत्येक पास होने वाले छात्र को NIELIT (DOEACC Society) से Certificate दिया जायेगा !
7 इसके लिए आपको अपने सेंटर को हमारे द्वारा रजिस्टर्ड करवाना होगा, जिसमे आपको एक Center login ID & Password दिया जाएगा, जिसके द्वारा आप छात्र का रजिस्ट्रेशन कर पाएंगे !
