The Hernia 360 Conference was a great learning experience with insightful sessions and engaging discussions.

Long-standing GERD is often mistaken as simple “acidity,” but if uncontrolled, it can lead to complications like severe esophagitis, strictures, Barrett’s esophagus, and even cancer risk.
When symptoms persist despite long-term medication, surgery becomes a reliable solution.
I recently treated a patient with chronic GERD using robotic Nissen fundoplication. The minimally invasive approach ensured a safe procedure and quick recovery.
The patient is now symptom-free and off medications.
👉 Persistent reflux shouldn’t be ignored—timely surgical management can prevent complications and restore quality of life.
