Rotary Solan

A wheel chair was donated to a needy below knee amputee by the Rotary Club Solan on 21st March 2025 . President Rtn Navneet Mohindru said that helping the needy is the prime aim of Rotary Club Solan. Other members present were Rtn Mahesh Gambhir, Secretary, Rtn Suraj Gupta , Rtn Dr Sudhir Mohindru, Rtn Dr Bhuvnesh Vijay , Rtn Vijay Duggal and others .

29 June 2024 - Project Employment Generation - Gifting Sewing Machines :: 6 Sewing Machines were given to the needy ladies under the Employment generation project of Rotary Club Solan. Under this humanitarian project one of the beneficiary is wife of gentleman who lost both his hands in an accident and has lost employment and is unable to earn for the family. Five Sewing Machines provided to the ladies who are below poverty line and wish to earn for their families by tailoring. Rtn MP Kanwar , President of Rotary Club Solan said that this will help 6 families to earn their livelihood and to live with dignity. Rtn Lakshmi Narayan Sharma was the project director for this project. 29th June 2024 -- 20 vendors were provided umbrellas to save them from the scorching heat in various bazaars of Solan by Rotary Club Solan. This will save them from the direction Sunlight and hot season. Speaking on this occasion Rtn MP Kanwar President Rotary Club Solan told that the vendors mostly sitting on the ground and selling product, appreciated the gesture of Rotary Club Solan towards their welfare.
