Today is Datta Jayanti, celebrating the force that restores balance when darkness grows too heavy.
Lord Dattatreya is a wandering sovereign, unbound by location.
Legend paints a beautiful picture of his daily routine across the sacred geography of India:
✨ A morning bath in the Ganges at Varanasi.
✨ Seeking alms (Bhiksha) for lunch in Kolhapur.
✨ Chewing Tambul (betel leaf) in the Beed district.
✨ Sleeping at the peaks of Mahurgad.
✨ And performing Yoga at Girnar.
He is everywhere at once, yet constantly moving—a symbol of the freedom of the soul.
Today, the energy of the Guru principle is amplified. I am connecting to this current at the Shirdi Sai Baba temple nearby.
