We are glad to inform that two of our students showcased innovative projects in the DLEPC (District level exhibition and project competition) 2023-24 that was held at District institute of Education and Training (DIET) complex sopore.
Both the Projects were evaluated and one of the project, Dual axis solar tracking system was selected for next level of the competition.
We thank the Institution head for the proactive approach and hard needed support.
We also thank our ATL IC and our mentor from Learning Links Foundation and Dell Technologies for their support and mentorship in making these innovations a reality.

Tinker Expo 2024: Showcasing Innovation and Young Talent

Held at Govt Boys' Higher Secondary School Soporethe Tinker Expo 2024 celebrated student innovation under the ATL Adoption and Upskilling program, organized by Learning Links Foundation (LLF) in collaboration with Dell TechnologiesThe event, attended by students, educators, and dignitaries, began with a welcome by the school’s Incharge Principal Dr. Ishfaq Maqbooland LLF’s Mr. Zubair.

The highlight was a project showcase competition where 36 students from 12 schools presented creative solutions, judged by a panel including Mr. Khurshid Aalam, Senior Lecturer at BHSS Sopore, Sayiq Javid from LLF, and Mr. Asrar Banday. Distinguished guests such as Faisal Jan Anim, President of the Bar Association Sopore, and Dr. Shazia, Medical Officer, Sub-District Hospital Sopore, also attended, praising LLF and Dell Technologies’ support for education and innovation.

Top projects were awarded, with Boys Higher Secondary School Fatehgarh, Baramulla taking first place, followed by BHSS Sopore and BHSS Baramulla. Students also participated in an engaging ATL-themed quiz, testing their knowledge and skills.

Assistant District Commissioner of Police District, Sopore, Mr. Shabir Ahmad Raina, delivered an inspiring address, encouraging young innovators and commending LLF and Dell’s contributions. The event concluded with a prize distribution, with Dr. Ishfaq Maqbool, Principal of BHSS Sopore, expressing gratitude to the organizers.

Tinker Expo 2024 successfully empowered future leaders, setting a foundation for continued learning and creativity.

A District Level Student Innovation Showcase was held in the ATL of BHSS SOPORE today on 31-08-2024. The event was organized by DSEK in collaboration with the Pi-Jam Foundation. In the event most of the ATL schools of districts Baramulla and Kupwara participated. The students presented their respective projects with great enthusiasm. The showcase was open to all the students, staff, and general public as well. The efforts were highly appreciated by one and all.
The showcase was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Sopore, Chief Education Officer Kupwara, Dy. Chief Education Officer Baramulla, Zonal Education Officer sopore and Dangerpora. The ADC Sopore highly appreciated the efforts of Mr Mushtaq Sopori, Principal of the institute for facilitating the innovation showcase. The innovative projects of school earned appreciation.
