This piece carries an ash glaze made from the apple wood ash I collected at home last winter. Transformed into glaze, the ash melts beautifully in the fire, flowing and settling in ways that only wood ash can. Each firing reveals something new—soft variations, depth, and a natural richness that feels alive. It’s a glaze with memory, rooted in a simple act of burning wood and reborn as glass.
