Hyderpora Srinagar June 30, 2018: All Parties Hurriyat Conference, while paying rich tributes to the martyrs of Chatpora, Pulwama and Keran Kupwara said that the precious sacrifices rendered by our youth for the sacred cause of Right to self-determination has showered responsibilities on us to carry this movement to its logical conclusion.
Hurriyat Conference condemned the excessive use of military force against the innocent protestors and killing Faizan Ahmad Khan young civilian of Pulwama. Hurriyat while expressing its deep sorrow on this gruesome incident at the hands of occupation forces, paid rich tributes to the martyr and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family.
Hurriyat Conference expressed its deep concern on the rampant increase in the injured civilian population during cordon and search operations by the Indian occupation forces and police SOG personnel and termed it as a gross violation of human rights.
Hurriyat Conference cited an example of Abid Ahmad Sheikh of Magraypora Bijbihara, who was maimed and beaten by the men in uniform and was operated upon by the doctors at Soura Hospital, where his leg was amputated. Hurriyat Conference appealed the well off people of our society to help such injured breathern to get appropriate medical cure.
Hurriyat Conference also condemned the arrest of Mohammad Younis of Old Barzulla Srinagar at the hands of SOG Cargo Srinagar and shifting him to Kotbalwal jail under PSA. Younis is a student and he has been arrested on baseless and flimsy grounds, said Hurriyat.
