A Tribute to a Warrior Mother & Our A.Ni.S. Teammate, Nisha Talati
“A mother’s heart is soft enough to feel every bit of her child’s pain, yet strong enough to be a shield against every obstacle.”
Today, we honor the incredible journey of our teammate, Nisha Talati. Having faced my own deep challenges in motherhood, I relate to the weight of the path Nisha has walked and feel the raw essence of every struggle she has overcome. Her journey is a deep source of inspiration because she chose to be a warrior, balancing global professional success with a personal battle for her daughter Karishma’s health and dignity.
By fighting for Karishma’s right to an education and being her shield through seven surgeries, Nisha proved that a mother can rise to the top of her field while remaining her child’s greatest strength. Today, seeing Karishma excel with 77% in her boards and pursue her dream of becoming a forensic psychologist is the ultimate reflection of Nisha’s unyielding spirit.
Nisha, you are a living example of courage for mothers everywhere. We are honored to have you in the A.Ni.S. family.

Our team at A.Ni.S. NGO, led by President Gita Shroff, visited the Collector and District Magistrate Office of Surat to submit a formal plea. While the Women Reservation Bill was passed in 2023, the delay in its implementation keeps millions of capable women away from the decision-making tables of our Parliament and Assemblies.
We aren’t just waiting for change—we are demanding it. Through our initiative, Project Aadhyashakti, we are already training the next generation of women leaders to be ready when those doors finally open.
