Fungicides are anticipated to have a crucial role in plant disease management, serving as environmentally friendly substitutes for traditional synthetic fungicides. The inhibitory effects of metal nanoparticles, specifically copper (Cu-NPs, CuO-NPs) and silver (Ag-NPs), were evaluated in vitro against seven significant causal agents of foliar and soil-borne plant diseases with economic significance. It has Antifungal, Antimicrobial, and antivirus activity. Nanoparticles inhibit the further reproduction of microbes by causing cold injury to their cells and deactivating the metabolic system thus eventually killing microbes.
