A total wash of energies. Right after the evening pooja at Kumarapuram-Chamundi Devi temple on Friday, known to be very auspicious for ceremonies. The peteled stone lamp is lit and the sight is totally mesmerising. The reverberation of energy of chamundi Devi during the evening ritual is a feeling that all her devotees cherish. This photo of kumarapuram chamundi devi temple shows the green patch with the path towards the temple sarowara/ theerth reservoir. The arched pulley holder is used to draw water from the reservoir. The brahmin Hindu priest, draws water from it and uses jhapa karma (chanting of hymns) to use the water as theerth (divine water). As per scientific research, the molecular structure of water changes when it becomes theerth. It reminds the person of his divinity within themselves.
Let kumarapuram kuziyallammoodu chamundi Devi realize her devotees with Divinity. Ammae mahamayae!!
