Trichy Today

Yesterday I was hungry and went to Sri Saraswathi Cafe. I've ordered a meal and the waiter asked me to get the token 1st. I was wondering why the heaven I need to get paid before I've my food, which is an 80's - 90's methodology.
Then silently I went to the cash counter and asked will they accept the card.
The cashier replied we don't accept card unless until you eat for 250, and I asked for QR code to scan they said they don't have anything.
I was fully frustrated and sad about their irresponsible service.
The worst hotel service I never faced in Trichy.
I don't understand why people's are asking Transaction fee's/Minimum amount required for card swiping and No UPI/Paytm.
I never expected these answers from them, nowadays the world is transforming to digital but they're not changing.
Here my point is they don't trust us and ask for tokens.
But they can hide their revenue from the government and pay less tax.
If they go with digital they should pay for everything. Since they handle cash/record books whatever they wrote is the income.
