NSS Lords University

NSS Day was celebrated at Lords University on 24 September reflecting the history of this meaningful day with community service endeavors by NSS candidates, and a friendly volleyball match.

As part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav program, a tree plantation drive in the campus and nearby villages was carried out under the aegis "Meri Mati Mera Desh" initiative, organized by NSS wing of Lords University.

International Yoga Day was celebrated at Lords University where all the faculties and students assembled under the open sky to perform various asanas & meditation following 'Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' as per the theme of International Yoga Day 2023.

Donation of labour performed by the NSS volunteers in the campus as students are the real ambassadors of cleanliness and their actions motivate others to keep their homes, schools, colleges and surroundings clean.
Students cleaned the campus and raised the slogan ‘One step towards cleanliness’ following the campaign launched by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

NSS helps the student to grow individually and also as a group. Volunteering for various tasks under NSS activities help students to become confident, develop leadership skills, and gain knowledge about different people from different walks of life.
Students learn various life-essential skills while working towards improvement of people’s standard of living thereby fulfilling the aim of NSS of providing help to everyone in need. Active volunteers of NSS earn exposure and experience of becoming accomplished social leaders and efficient administrators.
