Udaipur Magic

Jaswant Thada is a cenotaph for the royal family of Jodhpur. Jodhpur is about 250 km from Udaipur. Like most ruling Rajput clans, the Jodhpur kings had a complex and shifting relationship with the Sisodias of Udaipur.

Kirti Stambh (Tower of Fame) and Jain Temple, Chittorgarh.

This Tower of Fame is dedicated to Adinathji, the 1st Jain Tirthankar. Adorned by the figures of the Digambars, this seven-storied tower was built by a wealthy Jain merchant in 12th century AD. The adjacent temple is dedicated to Neminath ji, Adinathji and Parshwanathji.
