His 'improvisation storm' will make you walk on the streets with a handful of expressions and poses (improvising). The first of his kind to reflect racialism through the perspective of an African American living in the supposedly great American country. Cassavets is probably called as one of the founding fathers of the American New Wave Cinema. His making of the low budget films in the late 60s eventually gave rise to what we call today as Independent filmmaking/cinema. Cassavetes was making movies that simply could not be made within the studio system. This helped to prove that independent filmmaking could indeed be profitable and that these kinds of films had mainstream appeal.

We will be starting a new podcast series "𝐈𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐬 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡" where we will invite Indie Filmmakers from around the world to promote their Indie films and talk about their interesting filmmaking journey 🎥

Our first guest will be 𝙏𝙯𝙫𝙞 𝙁𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙙𝙢𝙖𝙣 who is an Indie Filmmaker based on New York. He will be joining us in a discussion about his first feature film 𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐎𝐒 and will be sharing some great tips regarding 𝘐𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘭𝘮𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨.
