Payasam alert 🌟
Onam is never complete without Payasam. So this week’s desert will be Broken Wheat Jaggery Payasam.
This traditional desert is made during onam & relished after Sadhya. Broken wheat is simmered in jaggery syrup along with coconut milk and Garnished with Cashew and Raisins roasted in Ghee. Dont know about everyone, but for us the best part about the payasam is biting into ghee roasted coconut crunches. Literally Heaven.
