Children’s Day Celebration at St. Xavier’s High School, Vapi ✨

Children’s Day was celebrated with immense joy and enthusiasm at St. Xavier’s High School, Vapi!
The day began with energetic assemblies for Montessori, Primary, and Secondary students, starting with a heartfelt prayer session. Teachers presented a meaningful value-based skit and a hilarious Hasya Kavi Sammelan that filled the auditorium with laughter! Montessori and Primary teachers also performed a vibrant dance that delighted the young Xavierites.

The Children’s Day message from Dr. A. F. Pinto, Honourable Chairman of the Ryan Group of Institutions, was read by School President Ms. Kaynat Khan. Principal Ms. Salma Pathan inspired students with her motivational address, encouraging them to remain humble, disciplined, and goal-oriented.
A prize distribution ceremony followed, along with the Ryan slogan, school anthem, and national anthem. Students were then treated to cake and Best Wishes cards.

The celebrations continued with exciting sports events—Box Cricket for Classes XI–XII, Volleyball and Kho-Kho for Classes IX–X, and Football for Classes VI–VIII. The playground was full of energy and sportsmanship!

Across all classes, students enjoyed a variety of fun-filled activities—Montessori teachers dressed as Disney characters, Montessori students dazzled in a Dress-Up Parade, Classes I–II enjoyed a Cartoon Character Parade, Classes III–V participated in Storytelling and Puppet Shows, and Classes VI–VIII showcased their talent in Poem Recitation.
Students of Classes IX–X delivered powerful speeches on “The Role of Youth in Nation Building”, while Classes XI–XII engaged in an energetic debate on “Technology and Childhood – Boon or Bane.”

The day was truly marked by smiles, excitement, unity, and unforgettable memories for every Xavierite!

“GRANDPARENTS HOLD OUR HANDS FOR A SHORT TIME, BUT OUR HEARTS FOREVER.”

St. Xavier's High School, Vapi, celebrated the cherished bond between grandparents and grandchildren with a heartwarming program on October 3, 2025. The event was a true testament to the school’s commitment to instilling values of love, respect, and gratitude among its students. Guided by the vision of our esteemed Chairman Sir, Dr. A. F. Pinto, the young Xavierites expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the wisdom, affection, and guidance their grandparents provide.

The celebration commenced with an invocation of Lords Blessings with Prayer,Bible Reading and Special Prayer which was followed by prayer songs by Class I A. Grandparents were warmly welcomed with Welcome speeches in 3 different Languages and a captivating welcome dance performance by Class III A. The Montessori students stole the show with their delightful dances, beautifully portraying the special bond they share with their grandparents.

Adding to the festive spirit were the fun-filled games exclusively organized for grandparents, including “Balancing Cups,” “Balloon Cup Challenge,” and “Musical Cups.” Laughter, joy, and excitement filled the atmosphere as winners received potted plants and gifts as tokens of love. The primary students of Classes IV and V dedicated magnificent dance performances to their grandparents, creating moments of joy and nostalgia. The event reached its crescendo with an energetic, foot-tapping performance that left the audience mesmerized. Principal Ms. Salma Pathan praised the students for their excellent performances and thanked the grandparents for being role models and pillars of strength. The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks and a closing chorus, leaving everyone feeling blessed and grateful.

The Xavierites expressed their deep gratitude to Chairman Sir Dr. A. F. Pinto and Managing Director Madam Grace Pinto for providing this wonderful opportunity to honor and celebrate the love, wisdom, and legacy of grandparents.

STREET PLAY - "Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign" .

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, launched by the Government of India on October 2, 2014, aims to promote cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation across the nation, with key objectives of eliminating open defecation and ensuring universal sanitation coverage.
In line with this vision, the students of St. Xavier’s High School, Vapi enthusiastically staged a Nukkad Natak (street play) at Vapi Railway Station. The performance served as a powerful medium to spread awareness about the importance of cleanliness and safety in public spaces. Through engaging dialogues and impactful presentation, the students emphasized that maintaining cleanliness is not just an individual effort but a shared responsibility.

The street play particularly highlighted the need to keep railway station premises clean, urging citizens to adopt hygienic practices and contribute towards building a cleaner, safer environment This initiative was part of their commitment to promoting a cleaner and safer environment.

INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME ON “ART EXPLORATION”

St. Xavier’s High School, Vapi recently organized a vibrant Art Exploration Internship Programme for students of Grades 7 and 8, offering them a unique opportunity to discover and nurture their creative talents. The initiative provided a hands-on artistic experience, allowing young learners to immerse themselves in the world of colours, brushes, and boundless imagination.
The workshop was led by Ms. Priya Patel, a distinguished artist renowned for her expertise. With over 200 wall paintings across South Gujarat and two National Gold Medals to her credit, Ms. Priya Patel brought immense value to the programme through her artistic excellence and inspiring mentorship.
During the session, students engaged in painting a beautiful landscape on canvas, guided step-by-step by Ms. Priya Patel. They explored various painting techniques, experimented with colour blending, and learned the art of brush control. Beyond skill development, the workshop emphasized self-expression, originality, and creative confidence.
“The goal was not just to teach painting, but to allow each student to see art as a form of personal expression,” Ms. Priya Patel shared. “It was heartening to see the enthusiasm and talent these young minds brought to the canvas.”
The event concluded on a celebratory note with the distribution of Certificates of Participation, presented by Ms. Priya Patel to each student as a token of appreciation for their commitment and creativity.
This internship programme was a realization of the vision of Chairman Sir Dr. A.F. Pinto, who strongly believes in nurturing creativity and holistic development in students. Under his inspiring leadership, and with the continued support of Managing Director Dr. Madam Grace Pinto, St. Xavier’s High School remains committed to providing meaningful and innovative learning experiences that empower students beyond the classroom.
