On March 2nd, 2025, the National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (Nisbud) inaugurated the Swavalamban Program, a dedicated initiative designed to empower women entrepreneurs, at Chaudhary Charan Singh University in Meerut. This event, conducted in both physical and virtual formats, witnessed the participation of four esteemed universities, including Banaras Hindu University (BHU). The program focuses on providing targeted skill development, entrepreneurial training, and support to women, fostering their ability to establish and grow successful businesses. This initiative underscores Nisbud's commitment to promoting gender equality and economic empowerment within the entrepreneurial landscape.
