Myth 4: Is Vizag’s Environment at Risk?

Fact: Claims that the Data Center projects lack Environmental Clearance are false. All 3 project sites have received Environmental Clearances following detailed Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA). Tarluvada and Rambilli received clearance on 18 April 2026, while Mudsarlova–Adavivaram received clearance on 10 June 2026.

Wherever tree removal is required, it is carried out only after obtaining the necessary permissions and in full compliance with environmental regulations. Andhra Pradesh is committed to fast, transparent, and responsible governance, ensuring every approval follows the proper legal process.

Sustainable development and environmental protection go hand in hand. India’s tree cover has increased over the past decade, and all required environmental approvals have been obtained through due process. Claims suggesting otherwise are simply misinformation.

అపోహ 4: విశాఖ పర్యావరణం ప్రమాదంలో ఉందా?

వాస్తవం: డేటా సెంటర్ ప్రాజెక్టులకు పర్యావరణ అనుమతులు (Environmental Clearance) లేవన్న ప్రచారం పూర్తిగా అవాస్తవం. మూడు ప్రాజెక్టు ప్రాంతాలన్నింటికీ సమగ్ర పర్యావరణ ప్రభావ అంచనా (EIA) అనంతరం పర్యావరణ అనుమతులు మంజూరయ్యాయి. తర్లువాడ, రాంబిల్లి ప్రాజెక్టులకు 2026 ఏప్రిల్ 18న, ముడసర్లోవ–అడవివరం ప్రాజెక్టుకు 2026 జూన్ 10న పర్యావరణ అనుమతి లభించింది.

ఎక్కడైనా చెట్ల తొలగింపు అవసరమైతే, అవసరమైన అనుమతులు పొందిన తర్వాతే, పర్యావరణ నిబంధనలను పూర్తిగా పాటిస్తూ చేపడతారు. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రభుత్వం వేగవంతమైన, పారదర్శకమైన, బాధ్యతాయుతమైన పాలనకు కట్టుబడి ఉంది. ప్రతి అనుమతి చట్టబద్ధమైన ప్రక్రియ ద్వారానే మంజూరవుతోంది.

సుస్థిర అభివృద్ధి, పర్యావరణ పరిరక్షణ రెండూ పరస్పరం కలిసి సాగేవే. గత దశాబ్దంలో భారతదేశంలో వృక్ష సంపద (Tree Cover) పెరిగింది. అవసరమైన అన్ని పర్యావరణ అనుమతులు చట్టబద్ధమైన ప్రక్రియలోనే పొందబడ్డాయి. దీనికి విరుద్ధంగా జరుగుతున్న ప్రచారం కేవలం దుష్ప్రచారం మాత్రమే.
