قالت لي إحدى الأمهات شاكيةً: إن حُبْ إبني لزوجته أكبر من حُبِّهِ لي
فسألتُها : هل الطماطم أفضل أم البرتقال؟
فنظرت لي نظرة المُتعجب وقالت: إن هذه المفاضلة لا تصح فلا يصح أن نقارن بين شيئين مختلفين فالطماطم من الخضروات أما البرتقال فهو من الفاكهه
فبادرتها بالرد: هكذا الحب يا عزيزتي له أنواع ولا يصح المفاضلة بين إحدى أنواعه ونوع آخر.
فقالت الأم: اشرح لي ما تقصد
فاسترسلتُ في كلامي قائلً: أنتِ الأم أنتِ جنَّتِه في الأرض وهو الإبن قطعة من قلبكِ وحُبَّهُ لكِ عبادة أما المرأة الأخرى فهي الزوجة خلقها الله له من نفسهِ وحُبَّهُ لها سعادة
فأعيني إبْنكِ على العبادة وأحبي له السعادة ولا تقللي من قيمة حُبَّهُ لكِ بمقارنته بحبٍ آخر
وأتركي إبنك حر حتى يُعيدَه إليكِ قلبَه وطلبِهُ للجنةِ وهو بكامل إرادته.
فهزت الأم رأسها موافقة لكلامي وأنار وجهها الرضا وانصرفت وهي تردد: حُبَهُ لي عبادة وحُبَّهُ لها سعادة فسأكون عوناً له ليتقرب إلى ربه ويُتم عبادته وسأتركه يسعد بزوجته وحياته.
عزيزتي الأم
اجعلي هذا الحوار في ذاكرتكِ حتى إذا أصبح إبنكِ زوجاً تذكريه لتتركي إبنكِ يعيش حياته مع زوجته بخصوصيةٍ كاملةٍ كما كانت حياتكِ أو كما تمنيتِ أن تكن حياتكِ، وكوني عوناً لإبنكِ ليُتم عبادته بحبِّه لكِ وطاعتِه لكِ ولا تنسي هذه المقولة "إذا أردتَ أن تُطاع فأمر بما يُستطاع"

‏And I sent in My words saying: You are the mother, you are his paradise on earth, and the son is a piece of your heart, and his love for you is worship. But the other woman is the wife whom God created for him from Himself and his love for her is happiness.
‏So turn your son to worship and love his happiness and do not underestimate the value of his love for you by comparing him with another love
‏And let your son free so that he returns to you his heart and his request for Paradise in fullness of his will.
‏The mother shook her head in approval of my words, and her face was lit with satisfaction, and she went away saying: His love for me is worship, and his love for her is happiness, so I will help him to get closer to his Lord and be worshipped, and I will let him be happy with his wife and life.

‏Keep this dialogue in your memory so that if your son becomes a husband remind him to let your son live his life with his wife in full privacy as your life was or as you wished your life to be, and be a help to your son to be worshiped with his love and obedience to you and do not forget this saying "if you want to obey, do what is possible"
