✨ Happy Eid al-Fitr: A Joyful Celebration of Faith & Renewal ✨

Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, a month of fasting, reflection, and spiritual growth. For Muslims around the world, this special day is filled with gratitude, family gatherings, delicious food, and acts of charity.

In Iran, Eid is celebrated with unique traditions—wearing new clothes, sharing sweets like noghl and baklava, giving Eidi (gifts or money), and performing the Eid prayer in mosques or open spaces. It’s also a time for Zakat al-Fitr, a charity given to those in need so everyone can enjoy the festivities.

🌙 Did you know? Because Islam follows the lunar calendar, Eid’s date changes every year on the solar calendar. This year, Iran and many other countries celebrate on 12 Farvardin(31 March).

🎉 To all celebrating: Eid Mubarak! May this day bring you peace, happiness, and blessings.

🎉Happy Deygân: A Celebration of Nature and Gratitude for Life 🌿✨
Did you know that ancient Iranians had a special name for each day of the month, and whenever the name of the day matched the name of the month, they would celebrate with joy? 🎊 One of these festivals is Deygân, a symbol of love for life, gratitude for blessings, and a deep connection with nature and the divine.

💫 The word "Dey" means Creator and comes from the ancient Avestan root "Dâ," which signifies creation and giving. This festival was celebrated on specific days each month and provided an opportunity for worship, unity, and thanksgiving for the Creator and the world around us.

🔥 In the Deygân Festival, the deity Âzar (symbolizing light), Mehr (the god of friendship and covenant), and the Divinity of Deyn (the goddess of conscience, ethics, and spirituality) are also venerated. The goddess Deyn, known as the guide of pure souls, is represented by the beautiful rose of a hundred petals (or Centifolia Rose) and reminds us that a meaningful life is built on the harmony of spirit, ethics, and nature.

📖 The message of the Deygân Festival is clear: life, when embraced with love, joy, and gratitude, can brighten even the hardest of days. As Zoroaster said: joy and work are the two wings of flight toward a balanced life.

How do you say 'hello' in Persian? 👋

In Persian, greetings are as warm and varied as the culture itself! 🌟

For formal/informal situations, you can say سلام (salâm), درود /dorud/ or even سلام علیکم (salâm aleykom), which is a respectful and traditional greeting.
And sometimes, you might hear a very cheerful سلاااام (Salâââm) with extra enthusiasm! 😄

But when you're in a casual or friendly setting, Persians love to add a personal touch with greetings like:

سلام عزیزم (Hi, my dear)
سلام قربونت برم (Hi, I adore you)
سلام فدات شم (Hi, I'd sacrifice for you)
سلام دوستم (Hi, my friend)
سلام قشنگم (Hi, my beautiful)

These friendly and affectionate greetings are often used more by women. 😄
