Letting go means acceptance.
Acceptance that not everything is under our control.

We live in a land
where the worth of our labour is weighed with a worthless coin,
and our bodies are plundered like goods stripped of value.
A country where the Iranian Artists Forum lines up to bid farewell to our remains,
and Iranian associations compete in announcing our death notices...
Perhaps dying beyond these borders
holds more dignity
than living in this narrow realm of neglect.
